One of our clients established in the FMCG Food Industry noticed irregularities in orders from retailers. The company had a sales team taking orders from retailers manually and transferring it to a distribution network. The company faced major issues in terms of order tracking cycle from retailers, ticket size identification, raw material procurement, and packaging material handling.
VRA analyzed and identified the root cause as human errors due to manual data handling and recording. Based on the client’s requirement our team designed and implemented a mobile app system for order acceptance and processing, which is further connected with the client’s ERP system and the entire operation is turned into easy-to-handle time-oriented data acquisition system.
The back-end system was established to generate raw data reports for analysis. Apart from routine reports, real-time data for orders intake and pending orders for execution are made available for analysis. The facility for customer complaint indexing and handling is also implemented.
